WES morning meeting started off with 3rd grade winning the behavior stick on Monday! We added several new kids to AR point clubs on Tuesday! Friday we watched our peewee cheerleaders perform their routine for the game tonight! We also had several positive office referrals to announce this week!

There will be no school on Friday, October 18th for a Teacher Professional Development Makeup Day. We hope everyone enjoys the long weekend!

Flu clinic forms are coming home this week in student folders. If you would like your child to receive the flu vaccine at the elementary school on October 22nd, be sure to complete both papers. One is for our school nurse and one is for the flu clinic. If your child does not return the form, they will not receive the vaccine. There is no need to send anything if you do not want your child to receive the flu vaccine at school. All forms should be returned as soon as possible to get a count for needed vaccines.

⚾️ Attention Warriors! Big Day for Warrior Baseball This Saturday! ⚾️ Get ready for an action-packed Saturday full of baseball fun! The day kicks off with a Baseball Skills Camp for 2nd-8th graders—an amazing opportunity for young athletes to learn new skills and improve their game with hands-on coaching. Then, stick around for the exciting Home Run Derby at 4:30 p.m., followed by the Alumni Baseball Game at 6:00 p.m.! Watch past Warriors return to the field! ❤🤍 Come out, support your Warriors, and enjoy a full day of baseball action!

Parents, save the date! Parent/Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday, October 17th from 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Your child’s teacher will be reaching out soon to schedule a time. This is a great opportunity to discuss your child's progress, so be sure to reserve your spot!

Today was our final Mystery Reader day in the library. We appreciate all who participated and everyone who has read in a classroom as well!! Thank you to Mrs. Dena Fort and WES PTO for setting this up! The WES Fall Book Fair begins this Friday and ends with conferences next Thursday night (10/11/24-10/17/24).

We are proud of our WES students joining the new AR clubs this week! Also, we had several positive office referrals for exceptional behavior announced during morning meeting this week!
