Double Bus Route This Afternoon: Bus 76 (Racecar) riders will ride Bus 77 (Squirrel) today. Drop-off will be about 10 minutes later than usual.

Learning and Growing in 4th Grade!

Ms. Cox’s 4th grade students are working hard each week on reading, language, writing, and vocabulary packets — building responsibility and a love for learning!

They return their packets each week for Dojo Bucks, and their dedication shows. Parents have shared great feedback, noting real improvement in reading skills. Students were even cheering when they heard another packet was going home!

We love seeing their motivation and accountability shine! ❤️🤍

As we wrap up this week, we want to thank our 22 dedicated bus drivers, our students for practicing safe habits, and our families for supporting bus safety every day.

Day 4 – National School Bus Safety Week

Today we’re celebrating the amazing men and women who keep our students safe every single day — our Westside bus drivers! ❤️🤍

It takes 22 dedicated route drivers to get our students to and from school safely each day, no matter the weather. They greet our students with a smile, keep safety a top priority, and help make every stop a safe one.

We appreciate each of you for your hard work, patience, and care for our kids.

Ms. Cline’s 4th grade science students have been learning all about energy and energy transfer, and yesterday they put their knowledge to the test!

Students worked in teams to design and build chain reaction models using materials from around the classroom. They explored how motion and energy move from one object to another — discovering real-world examples of cause and effect.

Westside Elementary Gifted and Talented students enjoyed a fun and educational trip to Arkansas State University. They explored interactive exhibits at the ASU Museum, learning about Arkansas history, science, and culture. In the afternoon, students toured the Arkansas Biosciences Institute, watched a video on its research, and even extracted DNA from a strawberry! It was an inspiring day of hands-on learning and scientific discovery.

Attention Parents and Guardians:
Bus 77 and Bus 90 will combine for a double route today.

All students who normally ride Bus 77 or Bus 90 will ride Bus 90 and will be picked up during the second line-up at the school.

Please note that Bus 90 students will arrive approximately 10 minutes later than their normal drop-off time.

Future Warriors Take the Field! 🙌 This school year, our elementary and middle schools each launched brand new football programs — and the response has been amazing! Over 90 students from grades 3–6 participated in league play with other local schools. Tonight, these young athletes were recognized at the school board meeting for their hard work, dedication, and team spirit. We’re so proud of our future Warriors!! ❤️🤍
