Westside Elementary GT students enjoyed an exciting field trip filled with adventure, exploration, and hands-on learning!

The day began at the airport, where Mr. Houston Hart gave students a behind-the-scenes look at aviation and even let them climb inside a real airplane!

Next, students visited the Nature Center, where they explored exhibits, watched an educational movie, and discovered wildlife along the way—including a frog, lizard, walking stick, and even a snake!

After lunch and some fun at the park, students wrapped up their adventure with a visit to KAIT, where they learned about television news production, experienced the green screen, and were thrilled to meet Diana Davis!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this such a memorable learning experience for our Lil Warriors!
