If you are the parent of a homeschooled child who meets the following criteria, this is for you. The Westside Consolidated School District, Office of Special Education, will hold a meeting with parents of students:
who live in the school district,
have a child who has/had an IEP in a public school setting,
and are currently homeschooling.
Your child may be eligible to receive equitable services through a service plan. Please join Dr. Kammerer on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. via Zoom. If you are interested in attending or have any questions, please contact the Special Education Department at 870-935-7501. For a Zoom link to the meeting, please e-mail Dr. Kammerer at ckammerer@westsideschools.org.

Today, WES 4th graders stepped back in time with a visit to Parker Pioneer Homestead near Harrisburg. The Homestead is a recreated 19th-century town where history comes alive through historic buildings, artifacts, and hands-on experiences.
Students had a wonderful time exploring life as it was in the past — and one special highlight was seeing our very own Ms. Deana Bonham join in by playing the fiddle alongside the local band.

WMS: Tuesday, October 7 at 6:00 PM
WES: Monday, October 13 at 5:30 PM
We’ll review our schoolwide plan, parent & family engagement opportunities, and how to partner with us for student success. We hope to see you there!

WES: Sherry Byard & Glendil Griffin
WMS: Linda Roberts & Robert Herrera
WHS: Alice Whitaker & Jonathan Shell
