Today, WES 4th graders stepped back in time with a visit to Parker Pioneer Homestead near Harrisburg. The Homestead is a recreated 19th-century town where history comes alive through historic buildings, artifacts, and hands-on experiences.

Students had a wonderful time exploring life as it was in the past — and one special highlight was seeing our very own Ms. Deana Bonham join in by playing the fiddle alongside the local band.

The challenge: demonstrate the transfer of energy by releasing a marble at different heights to see how it impacts where the “bumper car” lands. Warriors discover how energy works in the real world. ❤️🤍
