WHS Boys Basketball team brought the spirit to Westside Elementary this morning! 🏀❤️🤍

Players helped open car doors and greeted students with big smiles to start the day, then joined the morning meeting to pump up our Lil Warriors and their families for tonight’s Red & White Game!

Join us for an evening full of fun — BBQ dinner, alumni game, Lil Dribblers performance, and Lil Cheer! Festivities kick off at 5:30 p.m. at WHS.

Lil Dribblers Performance Info: Lil Dribblers will need to be at the high school by 6:45 PM on Monday evening, November 3rd. Please meet in the cafeteria hallway. The performance begins at 7:00 PM. Admission: • $5 entry fee (performance/game only) • Lil Dribblers are free • Cash only — no passes accepted

Double Bus Route This Afternoon: Bus 76 (Racecar) riders will ride Bus 77 (Squirrel) today. Drop-off will be about 10 minutes later than usual.

Learning and Growing in 4th Grade!

Ms. Cox’s 4th grade students are working hard each week on reading, language, writing, and vocabulary packets — building responsibility and a love for learning!

They return their packets each week for Dojo Bucks, and their dedication shows. Parents have shared great feedback, noting real improvement in reading skills. Students were even cheering when they heard another packet was going home!

We love seeing their motivation and accountability shine! ❤️🤍

Friday was a fun day for our WES third graders at Jackson Farm! Our students were recognized for their good behavior and respectful attitudes — something that makes us extra proud of our students and teachers! ❤️🤍

Sam always has a smile on her face and goes above and beyond every day. She is a dedicated bus driver who truly cares about her students and their safety. This recognition is very well deserved — congratulations, Sam!

As we wrap up this week, we want to thank our 22 dedicated bus drivers, our students for practicing safe habits, and our families for supporting bus safety every day.

It truly takes all of us to make Safe Stops - Stronger Communities. ❤️🤍

Day 4 – National School Bus Safety Week

Today we’re celebrating the amazing men and women who keep our students safe every single day — our Westside bus drivers! ❤️🤍

It takes 22 dedicated route drivers to get our students to and from school safely each day, no matter the weather. They greet our students with a smile, keep safety a top priority, and help make every stop a safe one.

We appreciate each of you for your hard work, patience, and care for our kids.

Ms. Cline’s 4th grade science students have been learning all about energy and energy transfer, and yesterday they put their knowledge to the test!

Students worked in teams to design and build chain reaction models using materials from around the classroom. They explored how motion and energy move from one object to another — discovering real-world examples of cause and effect.
