The Great Reading Game update for today…. Westside Elementary is still rocking it at 1st place! WMS is at 34th place! WHS ranks 52nd! These rankings are schools within the nation! Once again, Westside will be participating in the nationwide Learning Ally Great Reading Games. It began January 8 and will end on February 23. Through this great event, let’s read, build our reading habits, earn points, and celebrate together! Here’s our first update: WES is first (in the nation) on the leaderboard! WMS is 31 and WHS is in 48th place!!! It’s still early! Westside Warriors are going to show the nation how it’s done!!! #itsagreatdaytobeawarrior #WarriorNation

FCA is hosting a Terri Tyner Memorial Blood Drive in the high school library on January 17th from 8:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. Please consider donating if you are eligible. One unit of donated blood can save up to three lives. Donors must be seventeen years old or sixteen with a signed parent permission form. Blank forms are available in the library.
