Students at Westside Elementary who have had exceptional behavior this week were rewarded with a trip to the book vending machine after receiving a coin to be able to choose any book they wanted!

Warrior Event Calendar for August 15th-19th!
On Monday, August 15, 2022, Warrior Jr/Sr Football teams will travel to Piggott High School for a preseason benefit game. Game time for Jr High will be at 6pm with Sr High to follow at 7pm. Admission is $5 per person (students & adults).

Westside Elementary School will have Pre-K and Kindergarten Open House tonight from 6:00-7:30 p.m. and grades 1st-4th on Thursday, August 11th from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

2022 Sales Tax Holiday
Beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday August 6, 2022, and ending at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday August 7, 2022, the State of Arkansas will hold its sales tax holiday allowing shoppers the opportunity to purchase certain Electronic Devices, School Supplies, School Art Supplies, School Instructional Materials, and Clothing free of state and local sales or use tax.

Tuesday, August 16, 2022 will be the first day of classes for Westside Schools. We look forward to seeing all of our students back on campus.
Westside Open House Dates are as follows: Tuesday, August 9th - Pre-K & Kindergarten from 6-7:30pm and 5th & 8th grades from 6-8:00pm.
Thursday, August 11th for 1st-4th grades, 6th-7th grades & 9th-12th grades from 6-8:00pm.

Starting at 12:00 a.m. on July 1, 2022, call or email to get your name on the waiting list for the 22/23 season seats! Contact Dawn Passmore in the superintendent’s office at 870-336-8015 or email at dpassmore@westsideschools.org. Date and time stamp will be notated for placement on the waiting list. Seats are priced at $125 each for all home volleyball and girls’ and boys’ basketball games.
Current chairback holders will receive a notification via USPS for renewal.
The WHS Drama Camp that was scheduled for July 5th-8th has been cancelled. A reschedule date has not yet been determined.
Westside High School will be hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the ROTC Building. There is a goal of 30 pints. Help save a life. Schedule your blood donation appointment today!
