WES PTO, INC. is a non-profit organization that exists for charitable and educational purposes.  Notwithstanding any other provisions of these bylaws, the WES PTO shall carry out the activities permitted by an organization exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law or by an organization, contributions to which are deductible under section 170 © (2) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 or the provisions of any future United States Internal Revenue Law.  

The purpose of WES PTO, INC. is to promote and facilitate the relationship between parents and the school in an atmosphere that is consistent with the educational philosophy of the school community. The purpose of these bylaws is to ensure a smooth and proper flow of business at meetings and events involving the PTO.
